Sea of Faith Edition
Series of abstract photographs by Mehmet Gunyeli emphasising on one of the most tragic human drama of our age, illegal human trafficking. Günyeli is known for being against cultural globalisation. In recent years, he has focused on contemporary and conceptual themes. He has two photography books. His photographs can be seen in the collections of the Istanbul Modern Museum and the Elgiz Contemporary Art Museum in Istanbul. The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston’s private collection includes photos of the Dervishes series. He has had many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. He has received several awards.
