The artist is introducing a new concept of Nft’s of his Baku paintings and his Baku inspired silkscreens as well as an open edition collaboration with his daughter Renk Erbil. This Creative mini project curated by Renkolondon in collaboration with Fan3 and SillyGabe oozes raw, intense, inventive twist and portrays this ancient city as never before….Baku is an extraordinary city with its historical location, architecture and nature.
Devrim Erbil is a visionary artist who recognises the values technology brings to the ever changing art scene therefore he is always evolving and exploring with new mechanisms. Master of Fine arts he might be, nonetheless he was so excited to get involved with this project creating a special series for NFT collectors based in Baku and globally. Nft version of his “Baku” painting will have a surprise element of the Grand Prix, Formula 1 which will be held in Baku this year.
The art world is going into a new exciting territory, revolutionising the way we create, giving artists more freedom and more opportunities to connect with investors and enabling artists to thrive outside of the gallery and auction house structure.
About The Artist
One of the most important living representatives of Turkish Contemporary art, has not only achieved acclaim as an artist of paintings, but also for his artistic endeavours in a number of other fields including tapestry, plexiglass, ceramic and mosaic. Erbil has served as commissioner for such shows held in Alexandria, Belgrade, Sofia, and Kuwait. He has delivered lectures and published articles on the art subject. Works by the artist have been selected for inclusion in the collection of the state museums of Painting and Sculpture in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir. Works by him are also at the Museum of Modern Art in Bucharest, at the Banja Luca Umjetnicka Gallery, in Ben and Abby Grey Foundation Collection, the Ankara National Library Collection, and in a number of public and private collections in Turkey and abroad.
